Terminal Commands: PWD CD LS

This video clip introduces you to the Ubuntu Terminal. Three terminal commands are introduced: pwd (print working directory), cd (change directory), and ls (list the contents of a directory).

Quick Tips

  • To return to your home directory, you can always type 'cd' or 'cd ~'
  • To go up one level in the directory hierarchy, type 'cd ..'
